What did Sony Induce?

20 years after the legendary SONY case, the entertainment industry again finds itself scrapping to protect copyrighted materials. As opposed to finding ways to use technology to its advantage, the industry chooses to fight it tooth and nail. Imagine if the Induce Act was in effect and applied to Sony, which induced millions to purchase VCR's. Well, the motion picture industry would be missing out on the billions in revenues from the VCR/DVD industry, and arguably the most important channel to market their products. The only thing the Induce Act will do is prevent technologies from being discovered that could prove useful. When the Sony ruling came down, the entertainment industry was shocked and dissapointed. How do they feel now about that decision??
