How to Avoid Grading: Part Two

Read the California Supreme Court's decision and opinions in In re Marriage Cases.  174 pages, but they are double spaced.

The decision rests on Article One, Section One, of the California Constitution: "Article I, section 1 provides: “All people are by nature free and independent and have inalienable rights. Among these are enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety, happiness, and privacy.”" and on the Equal Protection Clause of the California Constitution.
