As frequent readers of Legal Theory Blog know, the approach known as "experimental philosophy" is beginning to have an impact on the legal academcy in the form of what might be called "experimental jurisprudence." You can get a taste of this work by participating in one or more of the experiments that are part of he Experiment Month Initiative, sponsored by the American Philosophical Association and the Yale Department of Cognitive Science. The project hosts 17 different experimental philosophy studies designed by 29 philosophers, each working on illuminating a different philosophical question.
So please take a moment to help these philosophers out, either by stopping by the Experiment Month website to fill out a brief questionnaire or by spreading the word about these new studies.
