This concluding draws together and reflects on the volume’s analysis of the current failures of widespread legal thinking and practice, along with meaningful alternatives to the status quo on both conceptual and concrete levels. It is only through unlearning and relearning that we can forge a new baseline in the field that we broadly refer to as corporate law. The chapter – and the volume – concludes with a conviction that regulatory approaches and conversations about justice and sustainability in the Anthropocene will need to shift away from the current anthropocentric approach to both problems and solutions. Readers are invited together with the editors to broaden their outlook and open their hearts to each and every element, human and non-human, of the social-ecological systems of this wonderful world to be able to find pathways to sustainability – not only for the future, which always can be said to be ahead of us in time, but also to start moving on pathways to sustainability right here and now.
