Wildlife crime may include illegal trade, smuggling, poaching, capture or collection of endangered species or products thereof. Plants and animals all in equal measure, play a significant role in maintaining the globe bio-diversity and therefore wild life crimes play a negative part in this area.
This paper discussed the various international conventions & organizations bent on control of international wildlife crime. It also discussed the control measures under taken to curb international wild crimes, the challenges thereto plus recommendations.
